Full Value Tax Rate
Municipalities revaluate properties at different times, it's difficult to compare tax rates. The Maine Revenue Service calculates "full value" tax rates by using state estimates of market values rather than municipal assessments. The most recent year for which full-value tax rates are available is 2001.
