ROCHESTER, N.H. #&151; A Maine man has been charged with child endangerment in Rochester for allegedly leaving his two children outside in frigid weather.

Police said Troid Patch, 26, of Berwick, Maine, dropped his children off at a relative's home for the weekend Friday, but because no one was home, they were left outside in the zero-degree weather. The children, ages 9 and 6, were found alone and crying on the home's back porch.

Patch was charged with two misdemeanors, punishable by up to one year in jail.
