Oakland corpse identified

By Morning Sentinel Staff Report March 08, 2007 09:17 PM

OAKLAND — Police on Thursday identified the body of a man found in the snow Wednesday in Pine Acres Business Park, off of Kennedy Memorial Drive.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Valmour L. Flannery, 55, of China, had been dead for some time. His most recent address was in Randolph, according to McCausland.

“We’ve been trying to retrace his footsteps, which include a number of bars, including Coyote’s,” McCausland said. “It’s likely the body had been there most of the week. It was frozen.

“There’s no indication of foul play, unless the medical examiner’s office has found something we’ve overlooked.”
