Disadvantaged children to receive health care aid

By Morning Sentinel Staff Report March 13, 2007 10:05 AM

WATERVILLE — Children who have no insurance or cannot afford dental care are getting free or cheaper services as part of a program benefiting Waterville schools.

Prevention Partners, Inc., a nonprofit statewide oral health care program, brings equipment into schools to do work including dental assessments, cleanings, temporary fillings and referrals, according to Waterville school nurse, Ann Bouchard.

Bouchard reported on the success of the program at Monday’s meeting of the Waterville Board of Education.
