WATERVILLE -- MaineGeneral Medical Center has teamed up with the 2007 Maine Games to provide athletic trainers and medical staff at this year's sports festival.

Maine Games executive director Jeff Scully said both organizations will benefit from this partnership.

"It's so important for the Maine Games to have an organization like MaineGeneral behind us in our move to the greater Waterville area," he said. "It not only adds to the quality of our events, but also adds peace of mind to organizers, volunteers and athletes to know that qualified people will be on hand in any emergency."

Maine Games will be in Waterville the weekend of June 22-24.
