By Kennebec Journal Staff Report March 23, 2007 12:05 PM

AUGUSTA — The Maine Children’s Alliance released a report today that is designed to help the state make better decisions when providing mental health services to children.

At a Blaine House news conference, the alliance released the Maine Children’s Mental Health 2006 report.

Maine Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Brenda Harvey said the data will help the state find ways to serve children better and ways to save state money.
