Superintendent may be named Monday

By Central Maine Newspapers May 18, 2007 02:25 PM

THORNDIKE—The School Administrative District 3 Board of Directors are likely to name the district's new superintendent Monday, district officials say.

The board is set to meet in private at 7 p.m. and expect to appoint the new superintendent, according to an agenda released on Monday.

Glenn Couturier, the board's chairman, recently announced the search was focused on four candidates.

Barbara Rado Mosseau, who took over the superintendent position in January, 2006, announced late last year she would step down at the end of her contract in June. Mosseau cited a lack of board support in announcing her decision.
