Suspect shoves potatoes up police cruiser exhaust pipe

IN FAIRFIELD, Monday at 6:54 p.m., a caller reported a domestic disturbance on 81 Davis Rd.
5:42 p.m., a caller reported violation of an order on 124 Davis Rd.

IN NORRIDGEWOCK, Monday at 8:41 p.m., an AJ Drive resident reported an assault.
11:30 a.m., a Matt’s Way resident reported a burglary.

IN PITTSFIELD, Monday at 8:49 a.m., a caller reported violation of an order at 132 Cross St.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Monday at 8:39 p.m., a caller reported criminal mischief at Southside Cemetery on Main Street.
8:25 p.m., a Fairview Avenue resident reported a domestic disturbance.
8:24 p.m., police made an arrest following a report of a domestic disturbance on South Factory Street, across from the ball field.
4:44 p.m., a caller reported a domestic disturbance on 459 Eaton Mountain Rd.
2:37 p.m., a caller reported criminal mischief at Southside Cemetery.

IN WATERVILLE, Tuesday at 9:25 a.m., State Police requested help on Interstate 95 while they dealt with a moose.
9:12 a.m., a caller from Western Court reported someone threw a rock at his window and damaged it.
Monday at 11:14 p.m., juveniles were reportedly threatening each other on Summer Street.
9:37 p.m., a police officer reported someone shoved potatoes up the tail pipe of the cruiser while he was responding to a call on Alden Street.
8:44 p.m., a caller from Alden Street reported his children were threatening him.
8:31 p.m., a caller from Kennebec Valley Community Action Program on Water Street reported someone scraped his car with a key.
8:19 p.m., a caller from Ann Street reported a group of 10 youths threatened her.
7:47 p.m., a caller from Shaw’s Plaza off Kennedy Memorial Drive reported a mulch fire.
7:35 p.m., a caller from Redington Street reported being assaulted.
6:28 p.m., a mulch fire was reported at Waterville Commons.
5:56 p.m., a caller from Water Street reported that during the last two nights, four solar lights were removed from the front of her house.
4:24 p.m., a mulch fire was reported at Shaw’s Plaza.
4:11 p.m., a caller from Kelsey Street reported three youths were trying to break into an abandoned church. They were playing with a fire escape and had not damaged the building, according to the report.
3:35 p.m., a caller from Oakland reported a possible intoxicated driver struck a fence and almost caused an accident near the Belgrade Road and Water Street. The driver was arrested on a warrant for sale and use of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
1:11 p.m., a caller reported two males were throwing rocks at the scoreboard at the high school football field off Western Avenue and may have broken a piece or pieces of it.
11:19 a.m., an assault was reported on Summer Street.
10:19 a.m., a caller from First Rangeway reported a neighbor was cutting trees and they were falling on his (the caller’s) lawn.

IN OAKLAND, Monday at 9:23 p.m., a caller reported a big fire near the woods on High Street.
9:08 p.m., a caller from Church Street reported a moose in the middle of the road.
Sunday at 2:48 p.m., a caller from South Alpine Street reported hearing what sounded like automatic gunfire in the woods toward the Webb Road.
Saturday at 1:01 p.m., a caller from Valero/Fabian Oil Co. reported a former employee was causing problems.
Friday at 9:49 p.m., a caller from Middle Road reported someone was shooting at targets after dark and disturbing the peace.
3:51 p.m., an officer reportedly stopped a vehicle on Middle Road that had no inspection sticker and found the registration on the vehicle had been suspended. The driver said he scraped the inspection sticker off because it was way past due, according to the report.
1:55 p.m., police and rescue workers responded to the Oakland boat landing on Snow Pond Road where a female reportedly was struck in the head with an object and was bleeding quite badly. She refused treatment for a small cut, according to the report.
11:06 a.m., a caller from FirstPark Family Practice reported a woman who was a patient until that day was yelling and swearing and demanding her medical files and then stormed out. The woman was warned for criminal trespass, according to the report.
IN WINSLOW, Monday at 2:13 p.m., a caller from Cushman Road reported someone was firing a gun.

Arrests
IN WATERVILLE, Monday at 4:15 p.m., Jason Bates, 25, of 72 Heath St., Oakland, arrested on a warrant, on Kennedy Memorial Drive.
Also Monday, Jennifer Perry, 21, of 150 College Avenue, No. 3, arrested on a charge of operating after suspension/warrant, on College Avenue.
8 a.m., Bradford Post, 48, of 4200 Woodhaven Road, Philadelphia, Pa., arrested on a warrant, on Main Street.
