Police have charged a fourth man in the robbery last week of two youths on Ferry Beach in Scarborough.

Police charged Nicholas Pondant, 18, of Old Orchard Beach on Monday in connection with the Thursday night robbery, in which cash was stolen from the two youths at 7 p.m. Police had earlier arrested Shawn Berube, 18, Nicholas Murdoch, 18 and Christopher Lamb, 19, all of Scarborough.

Three of the robbers were armed with blunt objects and a knife, police said.

Police said the investigation continues, and they expect more arrests.
