Motorcyclist dies in Lebanon crash

By Portland Press Herald Staff Report June 11, 2007 10:24 AM

LEBANON – A motorcyclist is dead following a crash Sunday night on Route 202, state police said.

Michael Dowey, 25, of Sanford, was riding a Harley Davidson that collided with a utility pole, according to State Police spokesman Steve McCausland. Police believe that speed was a factor in the crash.

It was the state’s fourth fatality over the weekend involving a motorcycle.

Two people died in a motorcycle crash in Littleton, and one motorcyclist died in a crash in Prospect.
