HOLLIS – State police are investigating a car crash on Route 117 that killed two earlier this afternoon.

The crash was reported around 1 p.m., near the intersection of routes 117 and 35, and involved a car and tractor trailer, according to a written statement from Stephen McCausland, Department of Public Safety spokesman.

Both occupants of the car, a Vermont couple whose names have not yet been released, were killed, McCausland said.
