Driver in fatal accident identified

NEWCASTLE — Police today dentified the woman killed in a car crash on Route 215 last night.

Danielle N. Pinnetti-Isabel, 20, of Waldoboro, died shortly after 6 p.m. Monday after she was ejected from the 2004 Jeep Wrangler she was driving, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.

Pinnetti-Isabel was driving alone when she lost control of the Jeep near the intersection of West Hamlet Road. The Jeep hit an embankment and rolled over, ejecting Pinnetti-Isabel, who was not wearing a seatbelt.

Lincoln County Deputies are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident. Deputies will be interviewing friends and family members in hopes of determining Ms. Pinnetti-Isabel’s pre accident actions.

Police said the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
