AUGUSTA — Rep. Nancy Smith, D-Monmouth, announced today a new golf
tournament to raise money to fight prostate cancer.
The Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament is set for
Sept. 29 at the Meadows in Litchfield, according to a press release
from the House Majority Office.
The group is a tax-exempt organization that’s dedicated to educating all
men and their families about the early detection of prostate cancer.
The registration cost is $90, and the team fee is $360. The cost includes
golf fees, golf cart, 18 holes, a steak or lobster lunch, giveaways and
prizes. Sign up by Aug. 1 for a discount of $80 for an individual or $320
for a team.
