IN WATERVILLE, Monday at 8:57 p.m., the manager at Best Western Inn on Upper Main Street reported a large group of teenagers rented four rooms and were running through the halls, yelling and screaming. A fight occurred in one of the rooms, which prompted several complaints from hotel guests, the manager reported.
An officer met with a couple of the teens in the lobby and they escorted him to the leader of their church youth group, who is a pastor, according to the report.
The pastor said the youth group was riding motorcycles from Saugus, Mass. to Nova Scotia and were on their way back to Massachusetts and had stopped at Best Western for the night. In the group was a 14-year-old who has attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, bi-polar disorder and other mental health issues and he did not get his medications on time and threw a bucket of ice across the hotel room, the pastor said. The boy was restrained by several other members of the group, the pastor reported.
The hotel manager requested the teens be removed from the hotel because of complaints by hotel guests. The group was refunded its money and left the hotel cooperatively, according to the report.
IN BINGHAM, Monday at 6:35 p.m., a Lander Avenue resident reported
vandalism.
IN CANAAN, Monday at 7 a.m., an Ella Gerald Road resident reported criminal mischief.
IN FAIRFIELD, Monday at 2:42 p.m., a caller from Pung Hill Road reported someone drove off without paying for gasoline. Police received three more reports of drive-offs when responding to the scene, according to the report.
2:58 a.m., the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office requested help with a burglary in progress.
Saturday at 12:20 a.m., a caller reported his car was hit with rocks on Center Road. Police detained and arrested three youths in connection with the incident, according to the report.
IN HARTLAND, Monday at 11:50 a.m., an Academy Street resident reported a disturbance.
IN JACKMAN, Monday at 9:31 p.m., police made an arrest following a report of a disturbance on Coburn West Road.
IN MADISON, Monday at 9:11 p.m., 9:11 p.m., police served an order on Nichols Street.
IN NEWPORT, Monday, at 7:20 p.m., police investigated when they found lights on in what they believed to be a vacant house.
10:32 a.m., police received a report that someone was trespassing on property on Russell Road.
IN OAKLAND, Monday at 11:09 p.m., an Oak Hill Drive resident called 911 to report a burglary. When police arrived, they found a car alarm going off, a youth running down the driveway, a dead snake in the living room, a dog barking and three youths outside, according to the report.
At noon, an officer reported seeing graffiti on Industrial Metal trailers parked near the bus garage.
IN PITTSFIELD, Monday at 2:31 p.m., a caller reported criminal mischief on Hathorn Street.
IN SKOWHEGAN, Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle burglary outside 51 Timberview Drive.
4:05 a.m., a Red Bridge Road resident reported a burglary.
1:53 a.m., police made an arrest following a report of a domestic disturbance at Indian Ridge Apartments on McClellan Street.
Monday at 6:19 p.m., a caller reported vandalism at the Snow Hawks Snowmobile Club on Canaan Road.
IN WATERVILLE, Tuesday at 9:16 a.m., someone from Hussey Hill Road in Oakland reported to police that money was taken from his account at a bank on Main Street.
Monday at 9:47 p.m., a caller from Hannaford at JFK Plaza reported that a youth stole some vodka.
5:02 p.m., damage to an apartment on Abbott Street was reported.
3:51 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at Hannaford at Elm Plaza. The male shoplifter was reported to be wearing a black shirt with an orange logo, black cap and cargo pants and was last seen running with two bags of groceries on Nelson Street, according to the report. He was arrested and charged with refusal to submit to arrest or detention, violation of condition of release, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and criminal trespass.
2:44 p.m., a caller reported someone struck her vehicle at Elm Plaza.
2:02 p.m., a caller from Greenwood Street reported the theft Sunday night of a debit card and her personal identification number from her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway.
1:55 p.m., an Oak Street resident reported the theft of a cell phone and post office box keys from his vehicle.
12:38 p.m., a caller from Radio Shack at Elm Plaza reported several items missing from the store.
11:37 a.m., a caller from Pleasant Street reported her estranged husband spit in her mother’s face. When the officer arrived, he learned that the man knocked her (the caller) down the stairs when he plowed by her. She is on crutches and lost her balance, causing her to fall onto a coat rack at the bottom of the stairs, according to the report. He was arrested for domestic assault on the caller and simple assault on the caller’s mother, the report stated.
10:01 a.m., a caller from North Street reported vandalism to her vehicle. The driver’s side door handle on her vehicle was missing, she said.

IN WATERVILLE, Tuesday at 1:01 a.m., Jeff Tibbetts, 46, of 203 Wooster Hill Road, Rome, arrested on charges of obstructing report of a crime, criminal threatening and criminal mischief, on Main Street.
Monday at 4:33 p.m., James Mayhew, 28, of 9 Fortier St., Winslow, arrested on charges of refusing to submit, trespass and theft, on Franklin Street.
1:35 p.m., Keith A. Poirier, 47, of 2 Danielson St., Apt. 4, Winslow, arrested on charges of domestic assault and assault, on Danielson Street.
IN FAIRFIELD, Friday at 6:15 p.m., Joseph Barba, 44, of 169 Silver St., Waterville, arrested on a charge of violating condition of release, on Elm Street.
