Bangor Savings Bank completed its purchase of Pepperell Bank & Trust on Tuesday.
Bangor Savings officials said they expect to complete switching Pepperell Bank’s signs, customer forms, checks and computer systems to the new name by the end of September.
The acquisition adds five York County branches to the 46 Bangor Savings branches statewide and gives Bangor Savings about $2.2 billion in assets and $1.6 billion in deposits.
