A two-alarm fire brought firefighters from three departments to 31 Ancona Road in Old Orchard Beach at 1:48 a.m. today.
Firefighters from Old Orchard Beach, Saco and Scarborough spent nearly an hour pouring water on the fire, which destroyed the top part of the residential building.
There was no one in the building, however, when the fire erupted.
There were no injuries.
