Maine to host state treasurers

AUGUSTA — State treasurers from around the country will gather in Maine
next year for their annual convention.

State Treasurer David Lemoine announced today that the National
Association of State Treasurers will meet at the Samoset Resort in
Rockport in August 2008.

“This is the premier annual meeting for state treasurers from around the
nation, and I am pleased to bring the event to our corner of the world,”
Lemoine said in a statement.
