Oosoola Park beautified
NORRIDGEWOCK Town-owned Oosoola Park was dressed up recently when a Skowhegan landscaper donated and planted four red cedar trees, according to Town Manager John Doucette.
John Lewis of Greatest Scapes in Skowhegan donated the trees to improve the looks of the park alongside the Kennebec River.
Were trying to dress it up and make it more visually attractive. The trees will help do that, Doucette said. Its starting to attract more people.
Land for the two-acre park was donated by S.D. Warren at least 35 years ago, Doucette said.
