Fairfield firefighters busy

IN FAIRFIELD, Friday at 11:40 a.m., medical unit went to Brailey Avenue for a man with chest pain.

7:02 p.m., medical unit went to the police department for a man complaining of chest pain.

8:11 p.m., a medical unit went to the Lawrence High School locker room for an injured football play. He was taken to the hospital.
10:31 p.m., firefighters went to the Carnegie Library at Goodwill Hinckley School for a false alarm.

10:44 p.m., firefighters went to a fire in a bathroom at 130 Benton Falls Road. Very little damage . Units from Winslow went and Waterville department sent a truck to cover the Fairfield station. Nearly three hours on scene. Fire officials will investigate cause.

Saturday at 11 a.m., firefighters responded to n alarm at USA Lounge on Main Street. Resident had broken a sensor head on sprinkler system..

12:10 p.m., Medical and rescue units went to an accident involving a car and tractor trailer. No injuries, no leaks. Truck was empty, had just delivered a load of sulfuric acid,a fire official said.
