The Maine State Police will assist with traffic direction tonight on the Lunts Hill Road Bridge near Litchfield on the Maine Turnpike.

Troopers will be stationed around the bridge, which will be undergoing a beam installation, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic could be stopped as long as 25 minutes. A southbound lane will be closed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Officials said the bridge work should be finished in two weeks.
