Greely, Falmouth win boys soccer titles

State boys soccer championships:

Greely defeated Brunswick 1-0 for the Class A championship. Ryan Burnham scored for Greely at 19:33 of the first half.

Falmouth defeated Ellsworth 3-0 for the Class B title. Falmouth Coach Dave Halligan has led the Yachtsmen to eight state championships, six in Class B and two in Class C.

Football playoffs:

No. 1 Bonny Eagle defeated No. 5 Deering 28-13 in a Western Class A semifinal. Bonny Eagle (10-0) will face No. 6 Marshwood (8-2) for the regional championship.

No. 1 Cape Elizabeth defeated No. 4 York 35-0 in a Western Class B semifinal. Cape (10-0) will face No. 2 Mountain Valley (9-1) for the regional championship.
