Augusta Planning Board gets new member

AUGUSTA - The city's newest Planning Board member already knows her way around City Center.

The City Council on Thursday appointed Anna Blodgett, who retired last year as director of parks and cemeteries after 26 years in city government, to fill a vacant position on the Planning Board.

Blodgett will fill the position previously held by Barry Cote, who resigned from the board in June.
