RICHMOND - The success of Richmond High School's boys and girls state championship soccer seasons will be celebrated Saturday with a parade and ceremony.

A fire truck parade on multiple Richmond streets is planned for 2:30 p.m., culminating at the Fort Richmond Park.

The formal presentation of the teams' "gold ball" trophies follows the parade at the gazebo in the park.

Following that presentation, there will be a reception in the high school cafeteria, where players will be available for photographs and autographs.

Organizers invite participants to bring snacks for the reception. Commemorative shirts are expected to be available for order next week. Contact the school at 737-4348 for more information.
