Police respond to death threats, bike thefts

IN SKOWHEGAN, Sunday at 7:14 p.m., a woman came to the police station to report that someone was threatening to kill her mother. Police continue to investigate.

1:57 p.m., a Water Street business owner reported a roof hatch cover was missing. Building did not appear to have been entered.

10:16 a.m., a Cedar Street resident reported her son’s vehicle window was smashed out sometime during the night.

8:40 a.m., a North Avenue resident reported someone had broken into their house while they were sleeping. Unknown what time it happened;they just woke up to find items missing.

Saturday at 11:28 p.m., a Russell Road resident reported someone throwing things at the front of the house again. Police investigated.

9:23 p.m., a car hit a deer on the Middle Road, knocking out all the lights in the car. Deer killed.

3:32 p.m., police investigated report of a stolen West Coast chopper bicycle with a 14-in inch frame from Ashley Lane. The bicycle was later found thrown over the walking bridge and smashed.

4:13 p.m., a caller found a black GT mountain bike at the end of Notch Road. Police investigated.
