IN SKOWHEGAN, Sunday at 1:10 p.m., a caller reported that when the owner went to Skowhegan 201 Service garage on Somerset Business Parkway he found two people trying to break into the business. They got away in a gray van.

12:45 p.m., a Dawes Street resident said a stray cat just walked into her house and she’d like someone to pick it up.

IN ATHENS, Sunday at 4:03 p.m., a caller reported that a man suffering from a gunshot wound was at the Athens Corner Store, appeared to be from a hunting accident. An ambulance was sent.
