A York County Superior Court jury awarded $110,000 on Wednesday to a Lyman man injured in 2005 while shopping at Shaw's supermarket in Biddeford.

Richard Houde, 58, suffered a back injury when a filing cabinet being moved through the store on a cart by a Shaw's employee fell and struck him. Houde underwent back surgery for a herniated disk after the incident. Shaw's admitted that its employee was negligent in moving the filing cabinet.
