FARMINGTON - Police are looking for an armed robber who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up a teller at a Farmington bank.

Police say the robber was wearing a brown hooded jacket and dark gloves when he held up the TD Banknorth branch Wednesday afternoon. Police say the robber handed a note to a teller saying he had a gun and to give him all of the money.

Police brought a tracking dog to the bank, but it lost the trail at an alley a short distance from the building. Police are asking the public for information that may lead to the robber.
