A yellow zone parking ban will be in effect from 10 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Tuesday.

During this ban, any vehicle left on a city street within the yellow zone will be towed at the owner's expense. The yellow zone is an area within the downtown business district that is bounded by Commercial Street, Cumberland Avenue, Franklin Street Arterial and State Street.

Free parking is available at several sites during the ban.
