A maximum-security inmate at the Cumberland County Jail was hospitalized after he apparently overdosed on an anti-psychotic medication.
Correction officers found Terrell Dubois, 23, physically unresponsive about 9 p.m. Tuesday. He was transferred to Maine Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
A toxicology screen indicated he may have ingested Seroquel, a drug that was prescribed for him.
Sheriff investigators and the jail medical team are reviewing the incident to determine how Dubois accessed enough of the drug for an overdose.
