AUGUSTA — Don’t forget to shovel a path for the oil man (or woman).
That’s the message from the Maine Oil Dealers Association, which sent out information today reminding customers that heavy snow makes it hard for deliveries of oil, kerosene and propane to get to their destination.
“Pulling a hose line around the back of a house in two feet of snow is difficult work, even for someone in reasonably good condition,” said Jamie Py, president of the association. “Having a path cleared to the fill, and keeping the fill shoveled out, will help ensure uninterrupted service.”
