FARMINGTON — Registration for Franklin County residents interested in taking
courses locally through Central Maine Community College will be Tuesday,
Jan. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Foster Career Applied Technical Center at
Mt. Blue High School.
College staff members will be available to answer questions. Students will be able to register for spring semester classes that evening, and pay by check, money order, or credit card. Spring semester classes begin the week of January 14.
"This is a great opportunity for Franklin County residents to meet and learn
more about higher education opportunities," says Randall E. Lee, Dean of
Student Services.

provided below and is also available online at

Courses being offered in Franklin County at the Adult Learning Center on
Main Street in Farmington are: Language and Literacy for Young Children;
History Since 1877; Intermediate Algebra; and Statistics.
At Mt. Abram High School in Salem Township, the courses are Technical
Writing, College Algebra, and Introduction to Psychology.
At Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, courses are public speaking; College
Writing; and Business Communication.
At Franklin Memorial Hospital, the course offered is Sociology of the
Family. And at Foster Tech, Approaches to Art is available.
