CARRABASSET VALLEY — A Sugarloaf/USA employee was injured in an accident late Saturday morning and was airlifted to a hospital, a Carrabassett Valley Police Department officer said.

Officer Roderick Small confirmed that the employee was airlifted shortly prior to noontime.

According to dispatches, an officer and two ambulances were at the scene. No further details were immediately available.
