WHITEFIELD — The Reorganization Planning Committee for an eight-member consolidated school district will meet tonight at 6:30 to continue consolidation discussions.

Sheepscot Valley RPC members working out the details of a new regional school unit to comply with Maine’s school district consolidation law are expected to continue discussions on district governance at tonight’s meeting.

The meeting will take place at Whitefield Elementary School.

Towns included in the regional school unit are: Alna, Chelsea, Palermo, Somerville, Westport Island, Whitefield, Windsor and Wiscasset.
