Heating oil down a penny

Continuing a downward trend, the average price for home heating oil fell by a penny in the latest weekly survey by Maine’s Office of Energy Independence and Security.

The current statewide average cash price dropped a penny to $3.21 per gallon. That’s 94 cents higher than last year at this time.

Kerosene also is down a penny since last week, at $3.63 per gallon Propane for home heat is unchanged, at $2.96.
