Portland officials will hold a public forum on transportation issues next Thursday at the new Ocean Gateway Marine Passenger Terminal on Commercial Street.
Information received at the 7 p.m. meeting will be used to develop the city’s Peninsula Transit Study.
The forum will focus on efforts to reduce traffic congestion and parking needs, such as increasing bicycle lanes and offering incentives to employees who car pool or use public transportation.
The discussion will be led by City Councilor Kevin Donoghue, chairman of the Peninsula Transit Study Committee, and representatives of Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates.
