WESTBROOK – Westbrook police uprooted what they are describing as a major marijuana growing operation on Saco Street.
Police, along with agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at a single family home on the street’s 400 block.
Police estimate more than 150 plants were growing and they seized more than two pounds of processed marijuana.
The couple that lives at the house have not been charged and the investigation continues, police said.
