CenterPoint Teleservices, an Eliot call center company, is looking to boost its payroll by up to 50 jobs in the next couple of months and by about 150 before the end of the year.
Michael McNaboe, chief executive officer of CenterPoint, said the company has been growing rapidly since it was formed in February. It currently has about 100 workers, he said.
CenterPoint handles inbound sales calls, McNaboe said, and has landed a couple of major contracts and expects to see growth from some of its smaller clients. Most of the work involves callers responding to ads on television or in print or to direct mail offers by banks, insurance company and retailers, he said.
