HALLOWELL — During April the non-profit Harlow Gallery will present “Missing Hallowell,” an exhibit of the work of two artists, photographer Bill Duffy and contemporary artist Mike Dworkin.
The exhibit will start with an opening ceremony with the artists on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
The Harlow Gallery is owned and operated by the Kennebec Valley Art Association. Association Executive Director Deborah Fahy described Missing
Hallowell as “an exploration of the city of Hallowell and its people from two very different artistic approaches. Hallowell photographer Bill Duffy will present a collectin of recent photographs while contemporary artist Mike Dworkin will present an recent and ongoing body of drawings, paintings and conceptual work.”
On April 5 from noon-6 p.m. and April 6 from noon-4 p.m., Dworkin will be working at the gallery and visitors are invited to watch him work or sit for a portrait to become part of the exhibition, Fahy said.
Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, noon -4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday noon-6 p.m., she said. Dworkin and Duffy’s work will be on display April 4-24.
