CAPE ELIZABETH — Two of the 10 Cape Elizabeth students who caused at least $4,000 damage to the town's high school had the duration of their suspensions doubled at separate hearings this evening.
The students were given 10 days in addition to the 10-day suspensions they are currently serving for the incident last week.
The two boys, accompanied by their parents, had no comment as they left disciplinary hearings that lasted a total of more than four hour.
The 10 students turned themselves in for drawing obscene pictures on white boards, smearing peanut butter on door knobs, popping out hundreds of ceiling tiles and barricading classrooms with desks last week.
The hearings will continue all week.
