Attorney General Steven Rowe is asking Mainers to share their thoughts or personal experiences with end of life care.
Throughout the fall, Rowe worked with the Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care to hold public meetings across the state. Now they are opening up a 30-day comment period online so others can share their experiences as well, according to a Rowe’s office.
They are asking specific questions such as: How are we doing with end of life care in Maine? What is working well? What is missing? What conversations do we need to have? Who needs to be involved? Is pain being managed? Are wishes being respected?
