Anthony Flye, 48, is 5-foot 9-inches tall with hazel eyes and brown hair with a medium build who lives in Nantucket, Mass. He escaped from custody in Bristol County, Mass. on March 25 where he was being held on charges of gross sexual assault on a child and assault and battery on an elderly female.

Flye was at the Bristol Court House for a bail reduction hearing and after being denied bail, jumped over a second-story railing head first and was injured. Flye was then taken to a local hospital where he escaped while using the men's room, according to Franklin County sheriff's Detective Tom White.

Flye worked as a construction foreman with a Nantucket contractor who has homes in Farmington and Industry. The contractor was in the courthouse at the time of the attempted escape and Bristol County police do not know if he was there to post bail or to provide support.

There is a $5,000 reward for Flye's capture posted by Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson Bristol Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Tom White at the Franklin County Sheriff's Office (778-2680).
