WATERVILLE — Police Sunday afternoon released the name of a man who was killed earlier in the day in a car crash on Webb Road.

Todd K. St. Peter, 33, of Sidney, who recently had been living in Fairfield, was the lone occupant of a 2003 Subaru Outback that struck a concrete abutment supporting Interstate 95.

St. Peter was traveling westbound, toward Oakland, when his car hit the bridge support on the right hand side of the road, Waterville police Sgt. Joseph Shepherd said.

St. Peter died of apparent chest trauma. The accident was reported at about 11:40 a.m. Sunday.
