EAST MADISON — Police and fire departments went to East Madison Road at 3:15 p.m. after a report of a car on fire with at least one occupant still inside.

Fire and police officials were still at the scene at 4:10 p.m. and no further information was available, according to police dispatchers.

A spokesman from a neighboring fire department, said the car was off the road near the East Madison fire station.

No names were available.
