Bomb threat evacuates Wal-Mart

BRUNSWICK — A bomb threat evacuated the Wal-Mart store in Brunswick this afternoon, and police want help from the public to find the perpetrator.

The threat was received around 1 p.m. at the store at 15 Tibbbetts Drive, near Cooks Corner. Customers and workers were evacuated. Police searched the building with the help of dogs from the Brunswick Naval Air Station, the Maine State Police and South Portland Police.

Nothing was found, and the store reopened for business.
