Officials from the Maine Department of Transportation will hold a press conference Tuesday morning to announce who they have selected to rebuild the southbound stretch of Interstate 295 between Topsham and Gardiner.
The state plans to close the 18-mile stretch southbound between June 15 and August 2008 to repair the road. During that time traffic will be routed to Route 201 and the Maine Turnpike.
Commissioner David Cole will be available to answer questions at the press conference, which is scheduled to begin at 9:30 in the MDOT's Richmond field office on Lancaster Road.
