WATERVILLE - Jennifer Jordan, co-producer of the documentary "Kick Like A Girl," will talk about the film after it is shown Wednesday at The Center downtown.

Hardy Girls Healthy Women, Waterville Main Street Program, Merrill Lynch, Women's Sports Foundation and Maine Women's Fund are sponsoring the event, to be held at noon in The REM Forum room. Lunch will be provided.

"Kick Like A Girl" is the story of what happens when "The Mighty Cheetahs," an undefeated all-girls soccer team, competes in the boys division, according to event organizers. With humor and candor, the documentary gets at the heart of the boy-girl issues and explores what "Kick Like A Girl" really means on and off the playing field.

Jordan will discuss how lessons in the 25-minute film hold true in many aspects of our lives including school, sports, career and finances.
