Two Kennebec County residents spent the weekend in jail after being arrested Friday and charged with trafficking in cocaine and other offenses in Amesbury, Mass.
Ryan Davis, 21, of Vienna, and Natalie Gaignard, 31, of Augusta were held in lieu of $25,000 cash bail and are to appear in Newburyport District Court today, said Sgt. Albert Chatigny of the Amesbury (Mass.) Police Department.
Davis is charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of heroin, conspiracy to violate drug law, and possession of an electrical stun gun.
Gairnard is charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana, conspiracy to violate drug law, carrying a dangerous weapon and being present where heroin is kept, according to a press release from the Amesbury police.
