AUGUSTA — A portion of State Street will be closed this morning during a service to honor and remember Maine's fallen police officers.

The service will take place at the police memorial adjacent to the Statehouse.

State Street in front of the Statehouse will close down from 10:45 a.m. to noon, police said.
