AUGUSTA — The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife announced that sporting goods giant Cabela’s has joined DIF&W's growing list of MOSES licensing agents, and that all Wal-Mart locations statewide now are MOSES agents, too.
MOSES is DIF&W's online licensing system and is available at approximately 240 locations statewide and on the DIF&W Web site, www.mefishwildlife.com.
"By offering the computer-based licensing system, MOSES agents not only provide a better licensing service to our customers, they also help the Department save significant time and money that instead can be used to protect our valued outdoor resources," said DIF&W commissioner Dan Martin.
“Both Cabela’s and Wal-Mart will sell a large number of licenses for us each year, so the fact that they have agreed to use the MOSES system to do so is very important to us. We look forward to a continued excellent working relationship with Cabela’s and Wal-Mart.”
