WILKES-BARRE, Pa.—Bobby Ryan scored two goals, including the game-winner, to lead the Portland Pirates to a 3-2 win against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in an AHL Eastern Conference championship series game at Wachovia Arena on Thursday night.

Andrew Ebbett also scored as the Pirates evened the best-of-seven series at 1.

Nathan Smith scored both of the Penguins' goals.

The next three games of the series will be played at the Cumberland County Civic Center over the next six days.
